A single clip is a demo. A sequence is an ad.
Most tools generate eight seconds and stop. Director OS plans the whole piece before it shoots: what each shot is for, how coverage builds, and what has to stay continuous across the cuts. Then it executes that plan shot by shot.
Watch a full sequencePlanning is free. Only shooting costs anything.
You see the whole shot list before a single frame is generated, because generation spends real money and a plan you disagree with should cost nothing to throw away.
Set the objective
Say what the piece needs to achieve. The plan is built against that, not against a vague prompt.
Review the shot list
Each shot comes back with an editorial role, a purpose and the action it covers. Change it or replan before anything runs.
Shoot in order
Shots execute one at a time, each carrying identity, wardrobe, location and the narrative so far forward from the last.
Cut and ship
The result lands on a real timeline. Trim, reorder, add transitions and music, then render.
A documentary should not look at the camera. A direct response ad should.
Format is not a label on a dropdown. Each registered format carries its own directing language: camera awareness, performance mode, pacing, production polish and how strictly continuity is enforced. That language reaches the prompt that actually generates the footage.
What carries between shots, and how it is checked.
Visual continuity
A continuation shot starts from the previous shot final frame, chosen by scanning for the sharpest frame in the trailing window rather than a fixed offset, because a motion blurred reference produces a worse next shot.
Narrative memory
A running synopsis travels with the sequence, so shot six still knows what happened in shot one instead of only seeing the shot before it.
Reviewed, not assumed
Each continuation is compared against its reference for visual and voice consistency, and flagged for a human. Nothing is auto regenerated, because that would spend your money without asking.
This is what a directed sequence looks like.
Multiple shots, one continuous scene, identity and wardrobe holding across every cut. Generated end to end on the platform with no external editing.

What is deliberately not built
There is no structured camera object graph with focal lengths and blocking coordinates. No video provider available today accepts those as real inputs, so a rich camera schema would only be compiled back down into text. Directing detail is written as causal, physical language because that is what actually reaches the model. Spatial rules such as the one hundred and eighty degree line are named as future work rather than claimed.
